So this was obviously a much needed post. I keep gettin it from everyone for pictures of belly and house, so all I have to say is you asked for it and now you're gettin it! So the belly pics were takin this evening, I am about 25 weeks! Can you believe it? I can't. Time is flying by now and I'm starting to feel it, physically and mentally. I am pretty uncomfortable at this point, mostly in my back, but also in my belly at night when I'm in a lying position. I swear it's Gavin's weight that makes it so uncomfortable. I will say this about him, he is a kicker! I love it and hate to admit, but sometimes I purposely wake him up just to feel him kick, you know, to make sure he's doin' alright in there. This new found worry has tripled due to a little scare I had last week. I ended up having a little bleeding Tuesday morning for no apparent reason. I freaked out and called my doc right away. She had me come in later that day for an exam. Everything is fine, and Gavin's heartbeat sounded good. Who knows what it could have been, possible overexertion. Either way, the last thing a preggers woman want s to see is bright red blood. Phew!
So we ended up getting a bigger place a couple weeks ago, what with our family on its way from two to three, we needed more space. Originally we were in the market (and still are) to buy, but with the way the economy is going, prices have only begun to go down. We decided we'd be smart and wait for them to get nice and low and thank ourselves for being so patient. This, of course, did not change the fact that a baby will be here at the end of July, whether the housing market leveled or not, so we decided to upgrade in renting instead. We live 2 blocks away from the Grove, which is really the best location possible. We're in West Hollywood (Beverly Hills area) and right in the middle of all the trendy restaurants, shops, parks, everything! Its a dream place and we couldn't be happier about it. The apartment is more like a house, done in Art Nouveau style, my fave! We have our own private courtyard which is covered in flowers and fruit trees. Its soooo beautiful. The pics of our room will be changing as we are waiting on our new bed to be delivered, which is amazing too, so more pics soon to come. I wish I knew how to post commentary under each pic, but I am retarded and therefore don't. I'll just give a quick, obvious play by play, in no particular order. There are pics of our living room, dining room, kitchen, our loooonnnnggg hallway, bedroom, James' office and courtyard. Our ceilings are pretty high, so you don't get the full effect, oh well. Uh, look at the picture of James. I don't know what to say, but I almost had an 'accident' when I looked at it. Classic.
