So, in case you haven't noticed, half of these pictures are not exactly of the best quality, because they're iphone pics. James and I were able to have a date on Saturday with just the 2 of us for the first time in over a month. Since it was our anniversary, we decided to go to Inn of the Seventh Ray for dinner. This restaurant is the MOST magical place in all the land. It's up in the Malibu canyons and just gorgeous. Since my grammy's in town, she offered to watch Gavin so we could really make a half day of it. We first went to Malibu and ate a little cafe at the Counrty Mart and then walked hand in hand down the beach. It was 80 degrees and perfect. Then we headed off to the Inn where James surprised me by pulling out 3 big bags from the back of the car. I was totally shocked and excited that they were all for me. We were able to eat in the twilight and it was just so amazing. I want to live at this restaurant, you really just have to see it to beleive it. Back to my gifts...James got me a present and card for each year we've been married and each one got better and better. The pics are in chronological order, so you get the idea. He got me 3 bags!!!! What!!?? I had mentioned that I wanted the black one, but coveted the green one, only to find out he got me both, plus one he picked out all by himself! What a stud.
The year 3 card was the sweetest card on the planet and I cried as soon as I opened it. If you look closely, above the pic of Gavin it says, "and Gavin makes 3." I was an emotional wreck. Im seriously married to the most thoughtful, romantic and tender man in the whole wide world. I don't deserve him, he is too good to me and he has my heart forever....

Oh, and don't mind the last pics, but I had to document the egregioussness of my plethora of new bags!

Happy Anniversary!

So, these pics have absolutely nothing to do with the title, but I just had to put em up! Look at how handsome (maybe a lil pretty?) my boy is! His fatness is to die for. The 24th marked James and my 3 yr wedding anniversary. Best 3 yrs of my life, hands down. Oh, and I guess these pics are relevant to this post, cause look what we got out of it so far! Here's to you handsome and to another 80 more of the best years of my life. I love you oh so much. Also, uh, Gavin talks. Ya, he really sort of does. He now says "mama" and "baba" when he's lookin for some food! If he sees me walk past him or if he suddenly notices me, he'll say very clearly, "mama" and smile. Its the real deal folks. When hes hungry he says "baba" and smacks his lips together as he's saying. Usually its not exactly a baba he's lookin for, more like a booby, which I just figured out. What a stud! He just turned 8 months 2 days ago and he's practically ready for college. I totally melt when he says mama. Its the sweeetest sound in the world. It's a lil dangerous at the same time, because Im sure it won't be long before he realizes that when he mutters those sweet words, momma will come a runnin. I CAN'T ignore them, even if I'm in the other room in the middle of some thing important, I WILL answer to it. Hoenstly, what could be more important than my baby knowing that all he has to do is call and I'll be there for him? LOVIN IT!

This post is a cluster of confusion! I decided to throw on the most random pics, you know, to catch up as quickly and lazily as possible. So, I turned 27 on Feb 11, and I'm feeling the oldness setting in. Why is that literally a week after my b-day, all of a sudden my knees start hurting to the point where I can barely walk?? Ya, its true. The cartilage is inflamed and kills! I'm like a little old lady who has to "brace" herself before she bends down! Anywho, I'm done complaining about myself. My b-day all in all was pretty nice. My mom came down so me and handsome could go out for dinner with out the babe. It was so delish. It felt weird being out with just my handsome, we, of course, talked about Gavin the entire time and did our best impressions of him. He's just so cute.

The top pics I took for my friend and neighbor (3 houses down) Leyla. She designs the most fabulous, vintage jewelry. She just opened her etsy shop and needed a great pic of herself. Unfortunately, by the time I finished her makeup, and her husband (Campbell is a celebrity hairstylist and genious)finished her hair and in between taking care of our babies, we had lost all our natural light, so artificial light it was. Wow, how was tat for a run on sentence! Either way. she looks amazing and I think we got some really pretty shots. I'll post her etsy shop once its completed, if anyone wants to purchase her jewelry. By the way, I have one of her necklaces and I get compliments everytime I wear it. Sooo beautiful!
