These are just a few pics that I've been working on the past couple of days. The ones with all the naked babies were taken last Thursday. It was such a warm, summer day, that we decided to get the kids naked and splash around in the water. Who doesn't love a naked baby! The last few pics of Ama and Gavin, were taken with my new lens that had been suggested by everyone because it has a quick shutter speed, so its great for taking pics of busy little babies. I really like it! Now I have a lens for portraits and weddings, and now, babies too! I really just have to thank my father in law right now. He's the person that got me started in photography and now, because of him, I am making a little business out of it and having a blast doing it! Its such an amazing creative outlet for me and his knowledge and generosity made it possible. Thanks Pa!

This weekend, my wonderful mommy came down to L.A. to help me with my best friend, Loni's, bridal shower. We had to drive up to San Francisco and there was no way I was going by myself. I did all the decor and my mommy did all the food. It was such a beautiful shower and I think I captured some AMAZING pics, if I do say so myself! Loni is going to be seriously, hands down, the most gorgeous bride in all the land. I am her matron of honor and can't wait to get her ready next month for her big day! Congrats Loni! You are one of the funniest, most genuine and selfless people I know and I truly mean that. I love you and so does Gavin. Also, I want to give a big thanks to you mommy! I COULD NOT have done it with out you. I know that I can always count on you and I couldn't ask for a better mama. You are my rock and I am eternally grateful for all that you do for me and my lil family.

Today, at Starbucks, Gavin was told he was the prettiest baby girl! I laughed and said that he was a boy, just a pretty one. The lady agreed, and apologized, but could not get over his girlish looks. I told her, I guess I'd rather him be a pretty boy, than a manish girl! He really is so pretty.

Where have I been lately??? Not blogging! Anywho, here is an update, since my mom has been on my case for a couple weeks now, I decided to throw her a bone. tehehehe. The title pretty much sums this post up, Mothers Day pics and Gavins lil girlfriend, Amalie. I did Amas pictures for her birthday invitations. She's almost the big 1! She is the prettiest, sweetest girl in all the land, which is fitting, given that her boyfriend (Gav) is the most dashing and happy boy in all the land. They will soon be married. Mothers Day was interesting. Gavin was cutting a tooth yesterday and therefore, was not in the best of spirits. Oh well, at least handsome ran out and got me coffee and took me to a yummy brunch! Hope all you mommies out there were showered with loves!
